  • Hi, I’m Srinath Venkatramanan

    A big part of who I am comes from where I grew up and the people who shaped me. I studied in Coimbatore and I was fortunate to have teachers who genuinely cared about the students they taught. They were the ones who pushed me to be curious, patient and consistent — qualities that still guide me today in work and in life.

    Like many kids growing up in India, cricket was a huge part of my childhood. I spent countless days playing with friends and that love for the game never really left. I’ve always admired MS Dhoni — not just for the trophies, but for the calm mindset, leadership and the way he carries himself. A lot of the way I handle challenges even today comes from observing that attitude.

    Coimbatore will always be home for me — its pace, its people and that familiar comfort you never outgrow. Chennai also played a big role in my journey; it’s where I spent important years of my career and it’s a place that taught me independence and ambition. Both cities have influenced me in different ways and I carry a bit of both wherever I go.

    I’m also very family-oriented. The decisions I make, the risks I take and the goals I set are all rooted in wanting to build a good life for my family. Moving to Canada, setting up a new life here, finding stability — none of it would have been possible without the support system I have behind me. They are the reason I keep pushing myself to grow personally and professionally.

    I’m a Java Developer with 8+ years of experience in building and maintaining enterprise applications. My expertise includes Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Oracle PL/SQL and modern microservice-based development. I’ve contributed to key initiatives like SVN to GitLab migration, WebLogic upgrades, Log4j security remediation and improving application performance through SQL optimizations.

    I work closely with cross-functional and support teams to address production issues, enhance system stability and deliver solutions that meet business requirements. I’m also AWS Cloud Practitioner certified and continue to expand my skills through hands-on projects involving Spring Boot microservices, PostgreSQL, React, Docker and API development.
